Unjust Accusation and Poor Service - Beware of Hidden Charges!

I had a terrible experience with this car rental company. They accused me of stealing the spare wheel from the Fiat Tipo I rented for 5 days. To my shock, the day after returning the car, they charged my credit card 302 EUR, claiming the spare wheel was missing. This accusation is absurd.

I drove 10 hours and 900 km to Italy for a vacation and had no issues with the car that would require me to use the spare wheel. I never even opened the spare wheel compartment. Despite contacting their support twice, I received no response or resolution.

The pickup process was chaotic; the staff struggled to complete the contract, requiring multiple attempts with their software. At the return, the person handling the process seemed clueless and had to call his brother for help.

Given these issues, it seems far more likely that there was an error on their part rather than any wrongdoing on mine. It feels like they are trying to scam tourists who don’t speak Italian. I strongly advise against using this company and recommend considering alternative rental options.
