Siamo stati in barca con il capitano Ivan lo scorso week end e abbiamo avuto il piacere di ammirare l'intera costa da est a ovest, di fermarci numerose volte per un tuffo in acque cristalline e in grotte mozzafiato raggiungibili solo via mare !! Questo tour è un must in costiera! Ivan, il nostro capitano è stato fantastico, riusciva a manovrare la barca con molta semplicità e allo stesso tempo ci faceva da guida, illustrandoci tutti i villaggi costieri, le torri di avvistamento, e le attrazioni di questo magnifico litorale campano. Tour with Captain Ivan and I can say with certainty that you’ll get to live out the experience of a lifetime and one that suites your exact needs!!!

This summer I planned a trip to the Amalfi coast for me and my fiancé and I literally did a tonne of research, part of which included how exactly I would propose to my girlfriend.

In the end, I decided to organise a boat tour of the coastline where I could pop the question on the water at some picturesque location and after much deliberation I chose Captain Ivan at Diamond Cruises Amalfi.

I can honestly say to anyone out there looking for an unforgettable experience to suit their precise needs, that Diamond Cruises will give you exactly what you're looking for and take you on a jaw-dropping tour that you'll remember forever.

The company is jointly run by Captain Ivan and his wife Serena. They are such a sweet couple with the most humble story, go to their website and read for yourself. With them you genuinely feel like they care and that they are invested in giving you the most amazing experience possible.

I can't tell you how many companies I contacted and I was left feeling like they were just after my money and that they couldn't really be bothered, but with Diamond Cruises it was different.

I first contacted Serena and explained what I was looking for and the idea that I had in my mind and she was the most welcoming and lovely person you could hope to speak to. She wanted to know exactly what I was looking for, she made countless suggestions, gave me information about loads of places on the Amalfi coast to help us get the most out of our time there and basically helped me to design the exact moment that I was after. You'll speak to someone who really has a passion for what she does and you can tell that customer service is her top priority.

After I ironed out all of the details, Serena passed me over to Ivan who is just as lovely, really fun, knowledgeable and super flexible. He picked us from Amalfi and was bang on time, easily contactable over whatsapp and gave me perfect instructions for where to meet him.

On the tour, we stopped off at some beautiful little beaches only accessible by boat that felt like paradise, went for a swim through bright blue waters and even inside this incredible other-world-like cave. He took countless pictures of me and my girl in front of rock faces, natural arches and bridges and let us swim off and return whenever we felt like it. There's a little shower on the back of the boat as well for whenever you get out of the water and Ivan always kept us hydrated or topped up with prosecco, which ever the case was. He was born in the area, is a man whose love and occupation is his family and the sea and his forefathers have been fishermen going back 3 generations, trust me, he's the man for the job!!!

Ivan took us all the way from Amalfi to Postino by water, took the most amazing pictures of us on the front of the boat with Positano in the background and helped me to surprise my girl when I proposed to her. He recorded the whole thing with me getting down on one knee and everything.

But whatever you're looking for, even if it's just a simple boat tour, I'm certain Diamond Cruises will give you exactly what you're looking for and more.

Their boat is great, with loads of room at the back, out of the sun with comfy seats and in the sun with lush deck beds to lie on. And the front deck is great too, it's really big, again with places to lie down and a great place to take those amazing pictures from. The boat even has a toilet down below and places to change too.

We'll be going back to Amalfi one day and will definitely tour with them again and I wouldn't dream of looking anywhere else.

We are so glad we booked with Diamond Cruises Amalfi! It was easy to book and easy to find them at the pier. We booked a private full day tour and saw many attractions, swam in caves, stopped in Positano for lunch and much more. They provided goggles, noodles and drinks. Our captain, Ivan, was very knowledgeable about Amalfi and we learned so much. It was an awesome day 🙂 Thank you Diamond Cruises Amalfi!!

My wife and I spent a day on a private cruise with Captain Ivan (E von), and it was the most relaxing and enjoyable day of our 2-week Italian vacation. We had a fantastic cruise, swimming at grotto and private beaches only accessible by boat and our lunch at a restaurant accessible only by boat. He was an amazing captain and host. It was a little bit of a late add-on for us and a splurge to end our trip with, but well worth it. If traveling during peak season (May to August), I highly recommend you book in advance as Ivan said he fills up a month out. They communicate with WhatsApp, so if you don't have it, add it to your phone.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with Diamond Cruises on our private trip! Ivan was our boat captain and was so attentive, welcoming, taking tons of pictures for us, pointing out different places, etc. Our boat trip was all day from Amalfi down to Capri and it was worth every penny and the best way to see everything! We had the most spectacular time aboard the Diamond Cruise with Capitan Ivan on their Pershing. I rarely leave a review, but felt motivated to do so because the experience was seamless from start to finish.

We communicated with Serena via WhatsApp before and after booking. She was so easy to work with and made us feel confident in our choice to book with them. We were met with very rough seas on the morning of our tour and they generously offered to reschedule or delay the trip. This was the thing we've been looking forward to for months and we didn't want to miss it, so we wanted to make the tour happen despite the weather.

Ivan was an excellent captain, sea sickness nurse, and photographer - we got some great shots despite the choppy seas! The boat was in perfect condition and appeared to be brand new (I know nothing about boats, but I was impressed). I would absolutely book with Serena & Ivan next time I go, and will not even consider looking elsewhere. The service was kind, customized, and genuine. They are WONDERFUL!

The private tour of Capri was amazing!!! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Amalfi. Ivan was an outstanding captain. His knowledge of the area and his skills with the boat made the trip exceptional. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone who's looking for an up close tour of the Island of Capri.. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and I can't wait for another opportunity to do it again!
