We did an evening walking tour of the historical centre of Lecce, along with food tasting. We learned so much from our lovely guide, Antonella, who shared information about the history, monuments and buildings of the area. She pointed out many things that we would have never known about. The local food samples were excellent - with 3 savoury stops and 2 sweet stops. Highly recommend this tour.

Antonella gave a thorough and interesting tour from one end of the Lecce old city to the other. My favorite parts were the small details that would go completely unappreciated unless someone pointed them out to you - like the knockers on the doors. The food was yummy as well and spaced out evenly throughout the door.

We shared a wonderful 2 hours in the afternoon with our guide, Antonella, visiting a number of local historical and cultural sites in Lecce learning about the deep history of the city, its proeple, and it's food.

We enjoyed tasting sweets at three local cafes, along with the local speciality coffee, Caffè Leccese (one of us even got a decaf version).

Highly recommended way to spend an afternoon in the city.

Wir haben von unserem Guide Antonella eine wundervolle, insgesamt fast 3-stündige Tour durch Lecce bekommen. Einerseits zeigte sie uns viele schöne Plätze, andererseits auch kleine Details wie zB kunstvoll verarbeitete Türöffner. Die Stadtführung wird durch eine kulinarische Reise mit Spezialitäten aus der Region abgerundet. Insgesamt machten wir fünf Food-stops, die es zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis machten. Unserer Meinung nach eine absolute Empfehlung!
